Courtney Zito is a New York native who now resides in the Bay Area of California. For 14 years she paid her dues in Los Angeles working as an Actress, Production Coordinator, Production Manager & Line Producer. She was the Manager of Production Operations for 51 Minds Entertainment, an Endemol Company, where she worked directly under the Vice President of Production and oversaw the day to day on no less then ten shows at a time.
Courtney is best known for her work in Hollywood Girl, an indie series she wrote, produced and directed as well as starred in. She played the role of quirky and loveable Quinn Monroe, aspiring actress in LA to the delight of audiences across the globe. The show aired on Cable TV, and was translated into Italian for a channel in Italy. Hollywood Girl has amassed many awards for Courtney, her cast and the producers. Following the success of Hollywood Girl, Courtney officially started her own Production Company, Hollywood Girl Pictures, Inc. and began her second series, Dirty Thirties, a more grown up comedy about best friends and dating in LA. Again she won awards for Acting, Writing & Producing.
In addition to her own projects, Courtney has produced Reality TV shows and several music videos, most notably, Steve Austin's Broken Skull Ranch, and Teddy Ray & DoBoy: Blowin' up with Russell Simmons for All Def Digital Network.
In 2012, she wrote and directed her first commercial for Doritos Crash The Super bowl Contest that garnered positive reviews & write ups, went viral on You Tube, as well as winning her “Best Spec Commercial of the Year" at the 2012 International Television Festival.
